It had been a long journey, but the small townspeople were finally getting used to their mysterious visitors.
Though they couldn't be sure, it seemed like whatever misfortune he faced had only made him more mysterious.
He never spoke of his past and simply existed among them with a cheerful smile and sharp wit.
His positivity was contagious as the people around him felt invincible despite any trials that might come their way.
They knew now that what doesn't kill you does make you a stranger - in one extraordinary case, at least
